Untitled[edit]

I'm not clear about this: "135 of them are elected by proportional representation in 17 constituencies". Later it says that 40 are elected by proportional representation. This is a bit confusing.

How can you be elected to one position by proportional representation? Wouldn't this be more of a first past the post system? Also, how do "personal" votes and "party" votes play into this? Thanks,

Who can vote[edit]

Could someone add a section about Dannish voting rights? There are rumors that voting right granded only for citizens destributed to the goverment budget, is it true? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.116.210.207 (talk) 20:52, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Election dates[edit]

The precise election dates of all parliamentary elections can be seen here on the official Folketing website. [1] It is in Danish, so here is a translation of the names of the days: Manday = Monday, Tirsdag = Tuesday, Onsdag = Wednesday, Torsdag = Thursday, Fredag = Friday, Lørdag = Saturday, Søndag = Sunday. Merge Election stats[edit]

I propose we merge Danish Folketing election, 1895 into this article. The figures on their own do not make an article and this article is clearly a stub. I propose this merger take place if there is no objection within the next 14 days. Alan.ca 22:52, 3 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that is good idea. Both articles are just stubs, but I don't see any problem with having stub articles. Also, I'm not sure if you've noticed, but there are whole bunch of stub articles on Danish elections, so merging just the 1895 one seems a bit odd, and there are too many to merge them all. Fair use rationale for Image:Nyalliance.jpg[edit]

Image:Nyalliance.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Election funding?[edit]

How are elections and campaigns funded in Denmark? Since it's supposed to be a government with low levels of corruption, this would be useful to know, to better understand how effective governments deal with flows of money. Evan R. Murphy (talk) 06:42, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Flag[edit]

Why is the state flag being used instead of the national flag File:Flag of Denmark.svg? Lochglasgowstrathyre (talk) 11:50, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
