Producers

Can we get the names of each track's producer? I assume Kon Artis and DJ Head produce some tracks, but which? And I'm sure there are other producers too. -WindFish 02:03, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

Speaking of DJ Head, I remember reading somewhere ages ago that he became the D12 member Proof, just like Denaun Porter became Kon Artis, I can't remember my source but I've listed him as such on my tracklisting since. The Bass bros. didn't produce the album it was Kon Artis aka Mr. Porter (denaun porter) volumesoxxs 11:35, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

You honestly won't find it originally as it was. My question is, why would someone sell an original copy of Infinite? It is exclusive and rare, the only way to get it is go to iTunes, download all 11 tracks and burn them onto a CD in order. Uploaded a new album cover

I found a high-resolution album cover for Infinite a long time ago which I have been using on iTunes. When I saw the small, blurry pic here I decided to add mine. What does everyone think? When exactly was it released?

The article description itself states 1995, it's categorized as an album released in 1996 at the bottom of the page, and I've come across other sources (such as MusicBrainz) listing it as 1997. Anyone know for sure? Agent Sleeper 12:58, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Studio album?

I am pretty sure Infinite qualifies as an EP, no? It is shorter than The Slim Shady EP, which itself is, of course, an EP. The album is not a studio release, much more of a demo or EP I feel. Andre666 (talk) 07:45, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

It may have a demo "feel" but it was recorded in the studio and is a full-length album with 10 cuts and 1 skit. In the case of the Slim Shady EP there are only 6 cuts, with 2 skits and 2 radio edits. JoeD80 (talk) 23:32, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Why are Proof, Thyme, Eye-Kyu, etc. credited with their stage names, but Kon Artis is credited with his given name? Shouldn't the credits say Kon Artis or "Mr. Porter"? Unclear information in History section

"In 2003 this album was released, although it seemed legitimate it was most likely pirated, containing many clicks, pops, and other defects in the sound quality. The "European Re-Issue" contains a bonus disc with freestyles and unreleased tracks, no names for these tracks are given on the case."

What does the first sentence refer to? It was "released" in 2003 by whom exactly? And wouldn't it be "re-released", seeing as it was already released in 1996? I presume the second sentence refers to this 2003 release, but it's not clear that it does; it could be talking about a separate re-issue. And who thought it "seemed legitimate"? I get what it's trying to say, but it's pretty messy, and if it's just a pirate is it even notable enough to mention? Who Is the Guest On "Maxine"

There are three rappers on the song maxine, Eminem, Kon Artis but there's another who isn't named here (he's the last guy rapping on the song his verse sucked). --Siwhat (talk) 09:56, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Singles

There are three listed singles in the infobox: "313" feat. Eye-Kyu, "Infinite", and "Tonite". These all have exact dates of release. Can anyone give a source to this? I can't find anything, and I honestly believe that it was made up by someone. I seem to remember reading that there were no singles off of Infinite. TomUSA 20:29, 23 July 2011 (UTC)

Open Mic - not Thyme.

I've been editing this page to specify that it's Kon Artis/Mr Porter on the hook and not Thyme - but it always gets reverted. I'm going to change it again, and I'd like to include my evidence for it:
1. 5 Ela's song "Magestic" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jsgiqncdw7I - Start from 0.35. Thyme clearly states "Ask Denaun nigga, if they mistake him for me on Eminem songs..."
2. Eminem' song "Don't Front" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSxtNd_ja6I - Start from 2.24. Eminem says "With Denaun screaming: 'who the fuck passed you the mic'".
3. Listen to the actual song!!! There is no way you can mix up Thyme's voice (check 1. for reference) and Denaun's voice.

The article says, quote The album received mixed critical reviews and was met with derision from within the local hip-hop community, earning Eminem unfavourable accusations of copying other rappers' styles, particularly Nas and AZ.
