A botched spelling of Efrem Zimbalist Jr., an article that already exists with the same content. Gamaliel 22:00, 18 Jul 2004 (UTC)

  • I made it a redirect. Keep. RickK 22:03, Jul 18, 2004 (UTC)
    • I still vote for delete. We don't need a redirect for every conceivable typo. Gamaliel
    • Delete the redirect, before it establishes a precedent to redirect uncommon misspellings. --Ardonik 01:10, Jul 19, 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. This is misleading, sets a bad precedent, and is generally very silly. Jeeves 01:27, 19 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • The policy is that we don't create redirects just because someone might misspell. But once an article has been created, we don't delete the redirect unless or until it is in the way of some other page. Right now, this is a harmless redirect. Keep. Rossami 01:31, 19 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep misspelling redirect. The fact that an article was created at the misspelling is decent evidence that the redirect is needed. I don't see transforming "balist" into "blast" as being that uncommon. -- Cyrius| 03:03, 21 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete Misspellings are for web bots and search engines, not encyclopedias. Arevich 04:16, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep I disagree with Arevich, I think humans are more prone to error than computers. I misspell people's names when trying to look them up, so such redirect pages are useful. Brequinda 16:08, 23 Jul, 2004 (BST)
  • Keep as redirect—phonetically misspelled redirects are appropriate. Postdlf 15:12, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)
