Benguela railway[edit]

The Benguela railway (Caminho de Ferro de Benguela) was a railway stretching through Angula, which connected the harbor of the city Benguela, with the rich farming and mining lands to the east, especially with the mines of landlocked Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
