I've added "freeganism" to the list, as it has much in common with anarchist tactics. --Jazz Remington 10:02, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Redirect[edit]

I'm going to put this idea out there so we can have some kind of discussion on it before I do anything hasty. In creating the list of basic anarchism topics, I completely duplicated the work on this list. Though it was not my intention, I've all but merged it and rendered this page moot. I think we can safely redirect this page to that list. I bring it up now because we didn't have time to discuss a merge proposal before I did it. Now is the time to object. I'll wait a bit so people can argue the merits of having a main list. If no one cares, or we generally agree, I'll go ahead and perform the redirect.--Cast (talk) 23:02, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There's no question that the articles should be merged. Discussion for uncontroversial redirects (i.e. when no content is lost) not strictly necessary. The only question is at which page the merged article should be located. This is a consistency issue as far as I am concerned, if including "basic" in the title is a Wikipedia norm for political philosophy topic lists, then by all means redirect. Just overly cautious, I suppose. I'll just jump to it. And yes, "basic" is a part of the list title format.--Cast (talk) 01:44, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
