MLB/PML Disambiguation[edit]

There is a specific statement at the beginning of the article that this page is for the United States airport already, as well as providing a disambiguation link for "Melbourne Airport". Real estate[edit]

Of course, all airports have property which they can develop for money. Still, Melbourne is different since it has prime property on Babcock (I think) and perhaps other places as well. This should be why the city (or county) doesn't have to "kick in" money from time to time. The airport, never robust in attracting airlines, is nevertheless, self-supporting. Although it is nice to know someone is attempting to improve the Melbourne articles (which I do thank you for), please back up your statements with proper citations. I've added the "citations needed" after your (summarized) "MLB is a self-sustained airport" comment in the intro paragraph. Please add the proper references soon or else we'll have to comment it out of the article until you can back that statement up. Sorry... - Jameson L. Infobox images[edit]

I have commented out the 260px coding from the infobox because it was exploding the image to its original resolution regardless of what you put in as a px value. However, image-width for image 1 (MLB log) does work and I have shrunken it down to 100px because it was very pixelated when it was stretched to the full width of the infobox. - Jameson L. rv trailer park[edit]

Are we in some kind of time warp? The rv trailer park was closed years ago and the tenants evicted amid huge gnashing of teeth. I passed by the other day and there is no one there. TUI[edit]

As was recently announced by the Airline, they will move their operations from Sanford to Melbourne in 2022. This move should be reflected in the page to ensure that an accurate record is kept. Ecolifeuk (talk) 12:56, 7 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Naming of airport[edit]

For international destinations Melbourne (FL) is not very useful name for readers who are not familiar with US state two letter abbreviations in the destinations table. I changed it to Orlando/Melbourne similar to what is used for Orlando/Sanford for TUI Airways destinations such as Edinburgh Airport, but I've had an IP editor revert my edits stating in the edit summary that name according to guidelines, we do not use marketing names see here: [1]

Is there a guideline for the naming of this airport for international destinations? If it is Melbourne (FL) I'd like to propose a change for the naming of the airport for international destinations to something more appropriate like Orlando/Melbourne Angryskies (talk) 19:57, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
