Pronunciation[edit]

The user 81.225.31.119 pointed out that the double "L" in Lladró is pronounced with a "J" sound in some regions of the world. Although this is true, it is not so for the whole wide world. If one is to mention one method of pronunciation, we should provide other pronunciations (correct or not) so that the readers know what they are hearing on the streets and reading on Wikipedia are, in fact, the same subject. Also, the sentence can be improved by adding a more professional tone and widely accepted English dictionary type pronunciation characters (since this IS en.wikipedia.org). BTW, in Japan, Lladró is pronounced "Li A Do Ro" and registered under that pronunciation because of a import/export misfiling in the early days. --Emana 15:19, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, since Lladró is a catalan word, it should be pronounced "lyaDRO".

The pronounciation would be yaDRO, with the first part said as "yeah". The "ja" pronounciation )english ja, not spanish ja) would be spanish from Argentina, not from Spain, or English.

The user 81.225.31.119 has not responded in over two months. I think we have come to the conclusion that the pronunciation of "Lládro" differs in all parts of the world. The fact that the Lládro company has registered their name in the local pronunciation in foreign countries shows that THE company is open to many pronunciations. Therefore I see it fit to remove the original post by 81.225.31.119. Those who diagree may continue with this discussion and/or add to the article in a more neutral and educated manner. --Emana 16:37, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Quality?[edit]
