Baan is company who is leading in ERP,

When was the Last Time BaaN "LEAD" in ERP???
I think the author meant that many companies have placed investments into BaaN and is still using it to this day.

LN is a very promising product. Having worked with Baan 4 and 5, LN can end up providing Infor with a serious alternative to SAP Do not be surprised if this product takes off.

the spruce goose was a very promising product,we shall see

The main Baan related website is now http://www.baanboard.com

De Uitverkoorne[edit]

Perhaps add a reference to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0492916/ Surely, LN ia a much superior product thant Baan IV and Baan V. LN can give competition to SAP.

Sunday policy[edit]

From an announcement by Baan President Laurens van der Tang on April 20, 2001:

As mentioned, the general rule is that we don't work on Sunday. Let's define more precisely what this means. It implies among other things the following:
  • Nobody will be asked to work on Sunday, and everyone has complete freedom to refuse working on Sunday
  • We don't have any meetings or teleconferences that take place on Sunday
  • Internal meetings and meetings with customers, prospects and partners are scheduled in such a way that people don't have to travel on Sunday to be able to attend (which typically means starting on Tuesday or late on Monday)
  • Internal meetings and meetings with customers, prospects and partners are also scheduled in such a way that people can be back at home in time before Sunday (which typically means finishing Thursday or Friday)
  • Offices are closed on Sunday
  • We have no customer or prospect hospitality activities on Sunday
  • We don't participate in external conferences and/or fairs on Sunday
  • We don't sponsor events that take place on Sunday
  • No internal IT helpdesk support on Sunday
In some countries, especially Israel, Saturday is the generally accepted public day of rest. For Baan employees in these countries the same rules apply, but now on Saturday.

Software user comments on the article page.[edit]

I found the following comment:

BaaN shipping calendar implemented in 2010 DOES NOT WORK!

This is evidently a user's opinion. Wikipedia is not a user group forum.

I have removed the comment and placed here in the talk section. If anyone wants to verify this statement or add any comments regarding the shipping calendar, please do so, but in a referenced manner according to Wiki priniples. Nick in syd (talk) 16:23, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
