Untitled[edit]

Added HTML code for being able to keep (film title, year) in the picture description in one line. Still contemplating about table structure for the filmography (benefit: would be much easier e.g. to pick out movies by the same director). Palapala 12:47, 30 Jan 2004 (UTC)

I inserted a "Cleanup" notice as this article is little more than a mass of photos. - Ted Wilkes 02:24, 29 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Real name[edit]

His real name wasn't Angiolino Joseph Pascal Ventura: he was Italian, born in Italy from Italian parents, so his real name was Angiolino Giuseppe Pasquale Ventura. "Joseph" and "Pascal" aren't Italian names :) --Gspinoza 19:36, 25 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question to you: why do you suppose Lino Ventura emigrated to France at age 5 and remained there until his death? Why didn't he ever return to Italy? Why couldn't he speak Italian without a French accent? Why did he speak French without Italian accent? I'll tell you: he was French. The only thing Italian about him was his passport, which is meaningless. It only has a bureaucratic meaning. In the heart, in the mind, he was French. Suck it up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.72.92.4 (talk) 00:56, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
He never got the French citizenship, so he is an Italian actor.Nortmannus (talk) 03:24, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
