Sir Henry Monson de la Poer Beresford-Peirse, Baronet was a landowner of Bedale, England in 1890. How is he related to these men?

According to Burke's Peerage, the 1st marquess had an illegitimate son whose
   descendants are baronnets Beresford-Peirse.

Choice of title[edit]

Why was the 2nd Earl of Tyrone created Marquess of Waterford when there was (and still is) an Earl of Waterford (the Premier Earl of Ireland on the Roll, in fact), especially when he could easily have been created Marquess of Tyrone? Was any comment made on the (seemingly completely unjustified) duplication of titles? Proteus (Talk) 15:48, 9 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lord Le Poer or Lord Beresford?[edit]

According to this article: the heir apparent's heir apparent is his son Richard John la Poer Beresford, Lord Le Poer (b. 1987) But according to the page List of courtesy titles in the Peerages of the British Isles it's Lord Beresford. Which one is the correct one? Mr. D. E. Mophon (talk) 14:21, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
