Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/User:Lynndie England

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

One more "userpage" similar to User:CurlChat being discussed on vfd higher above. Lynndie England is a US soldier involved in Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse scandal. Someone has created a User:Lynndie England with the userpage consisting of various pictures. This "user" has not made edits to any real articles. If any of those pictures is important, they should go into Lynndie England article. User pages should not be used to create parallel articles. Andris 10:29, Aug 25, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete: It's spam, as well, trying to send people off to another web site. I agree with banning the user name. Geogre 12:41, 25 Aug 2004 (UTC)

  • If someone actually happened to be named Lynndie England, I wouldn't ban them just for having the same name as the US soldier. This is clearly not the case here, though, so delete. Average Earthman 12:09, 26 Aug 2004 (UTC)
