Earthquake info?[edit]

Help in identifying the exact earthquake and date would be most welcomed. The "1980s" date is based on word-of-mouth from someone not fluent in English. I ran a search of the Advanced National Seismic System database, and found this entry as the largest in the area during the 1980s:
