Oppose: There are very notable differences between the two and the CVPI has enough history and relevance (to the topic of policing and cars) to have its own article. Oppose: The CVPI does have many notable differences between the civilian version and the PI version as others said, and I believe it should have a different article since the PI itself has much history on law enforcement, popular culture and in vehicles general, and also so the main CV article will be easier to see without having a whole section about CVPIs. Strong Oppose: The CVPI's influence on policing absolutely deserves its own article. There are also many notable differences and variations with the CVPI to civilian versions.
