Actually, I made a redirect to Bookmarks to avoid ire of redirectionists. But then I realized that few people (if any) call them Web-based bookmarks. I believe, this one should be Deleted. utcursch 10:30, Dec 11, 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete. For reasons above. [[User:David Johnson|David Johnson [T|C]]] 14:15, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Weak keep as redir. It may not be common usage, but if one person made this mistake, there's probably at least a few others, and redirs are cheap. Niteowlneils 17:15, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)

  • Delete, but I do love the article as an example of the effort some non-English speakers will go to. Deb 21:07, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • Comment: "web-based bookmarks" is not, as some seem to think, a poor synonym for "browser bookmarks". The article is clearly talking about online, web-based services for creating and managing bookmarks stored on a remote server, which is fairly distinct from bookmarking within the browser itself. It's debatable whether this is worthy of an article on its own, but this kind of service (e.g. www.mybookmarks.com) seems to be becoming quite popular, so it might merit more than the current three-word mention in the Bookmark article. • If you search 'web-based bookmarks' in the search engines, you can find that the word 'web-based bookmarks' is often used. (e.g. [1])
