classifications of Clean Room
The class 1 level is defined as a space where the number of particles with a diameter greater than 0.5μm is less than 1 within a cubic feet volume. The space is class ten when the number of particles with a size larger than 0.5μm is less than 10. Similarly, a space with the number of particles less than 1000 is class 1000. Most semiconductor factories currently fabricate IC products in a class 1 environment.
