Regarding the new article Church bus and school bus safety, as the holidays approach again, I found myself thinks of those loved ones who won't be with their families due to tragic accidents. So, I am writing this to everyone in memory of the victims of the school (church) bus tragedy which occurred at Carrollton, Kentucky on May 14, 1988.

A happy and fun-filled day for a church group at King's Island theme park near Cincinnati turned into a night of horror and tragedy as one of the worst bus accidents in U.S. history occurred on the way home.

Please excuse this long article, but I feel better having written it. I hope you do after reading it. I hope we can have some contributing comments. Vaoverland 04:29, 4 Dec 2004 (UTC)

DRAFT OF REVISED CHURCH BUS AMND SCHOOL BUS SAFETY ARTICLE AFTER SPLIT OFF

Is this really an encyclopedia article? Seems more like it could be on Wikibooks under the same name. Thanx 68.39.174.150 21:05, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

This is awful[edit]

The underlying problem with this article is that the primary author has tried to impress upon us how horrible the Bus accident at Carrollton, Kentucky in 1988 was and how important taking safety seriously is. The result is that half the article is about one particular accident that has its own article, the other half is a giant how-to about buying and operating buses, and the whole thing is infused with a sense of panic. -- Cyrius| 07:34, 1 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

VfD debate link[edit]

After this VFD debate I have decided to make this page a redirect to school bus, this in order to preserve the history which some indicated might contain useful material. The former versions can be found using the "history"-tab. Sjakkalle (Check!) 10:20, 11 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
