Images[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Xochilight.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, BrokenSegue 03:27, 16 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Great Work[edit]

Your work on the Mexico City Metro is really great, I will try to help improve it, being a personal fan of the Metro. Congratulations for your great work. User:Syats

Great Work II[edit]

Yes. That's such a great work. Yesterday I copy-paste al the information about Mexico City Metro into wikipedia in spanish. It would be great to have all images from Mexico City Metro in http://commons.wikimedia.org to be used by all. Congratulations. Use:Clinker

Mexico City Metro logos[edit]

First of all great work with the logos of the Metro stations in Mexico City. However I'm not so sure about the copyright tag you're labeling them with. Your first contributions are under the GFDL and your latest ones are under "The copyright holder allows anyone to use it for any purpose." However I doubt you're the copyright holder, since the Sistema de Transporte Colectivo originally created the logos. Could you please clarify? -- Rune Welsh | ταλκ 19:50, 28 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey- thanks for the great work on the Métro logos! Where did you get them? I thought I was going to have to resort to using photos of the logos that I took on the train. We still need the logos for lines 3,5,6,7,8,A,B. - Eric 02:51, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I saw you went through the trouble of modifying the copyright tags of each metro logo and really wanted to thank you for doing it. Your map of the metro system looks like it was originally created as an svg, and I wondered if you could make the original file available here, since there are some minor fixes it requires (like making the font size a bit larger) not to mention that Wikipedia already supports svg files.
I could recreate the image myself, but I don't have the train pictures nor the entire collection of logos, so if you could upload the original it would save me a lot of work. Thank you! -- Rune Welsh | ταλκ 01:58, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Metro system.svg[edit]

If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Metro obslogo.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Metro obslogo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 08:54, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Photos of the stations[edit]

Hi, I am planning of taking some pictures of the stations and putting them up in the corresponding articles. Do you suggest any particular placing? format? or any particular type of pictures? while I don't get permision from the STC I can only take exterior or fastinterior pics.. but I'll make some time to go the office and fill the paperwork, meanwhile I will try to photograph every station I can. Any suggestions? your work is great and I wouldn't lke to ruin it putting pics where they shoudln't. I added a couple on Metro Etiopía and Metro Santa Anita (that last one particularly blurry.. I'll try to take anotherone), Have fun. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Syats (talkcontribs) 02:55, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question about Mexico City Metro font / Pregunta sobre el tipo de letra del Metro de la Ciudad de México[edit]

Hi! Can you tell me what the font is? Thanks! Becuse i need this font for a schoolwork about transportation in Mexico City Hola.

Image copyright problem with Image:Metro basilica.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Metro basilica.gif. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
