Excellent article but brief. What do you expect from a gov link :) I am a cerebral aneurysm survivor. Four Brain aneurysms, a SAH, Five Strokes, Two that I was clinically dead, Paralysed temp on right side for six weeks, but perm blindness in right eye. I am not a "coil Candidate" which we call Endovascular technique and is done by a NeuroRadiologist by inserting a cath into the right Femoral artery, and then a thin flexable wire which has a micro camera on the tip, to view the brain or insert balloons or coils. The base of my remaining aneurysms are too wide, and along the medial wall of the left internal carotid cavernous artery. Multiple aneurysms are usually deemed to be genetic, however my 2 cavernous ones are caused from severe trauma. I am curious about what determines the different classifications of death. From what happened to me, I had warning signs, yet I was already damaged from the first two aneurysms. My death symptoms started with the accepted medical term of a 10 on the headache scale, then when I was given my pain meds, I vomitted, then the seizures were so violent I lost consciousness, I stopped breathing, and my heart stopped (I was later informed). I love your website and your vision. We all learn from each other :) JSTEADHAM@AOL.COM
