Not only browser is a culprit, but poor internet connection as well causes edit problem. In my case, when the article is too large, I can't complete sending the text and causes deletion of the rest of article. It's not a surprise that browsers cann't complete sending 10k or 20k pages. -- Taku 01:52 Mar 2, 2003 (UTC)

I also have no browser problem, but my ADSL connection gets stuck above 32k, I have to switch to a dial-in connection. - Patrick 12:04 17 Jun 2003 (UTC)

none of the modern browsers have this problem (so far as is known)

Can someone please check current Internet Explorer and Opera on MacOS (classic and X)? --Brion

Ideas[edit]

Rather than add this to the artical size section why not add a flag, like the stub flag that will alert users to the problem and how to fix it? Or is that a really complicated idea? --Shadow Dancer 994 00:46, 31 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
