I thought the LA Dodgers backed out of the trade? NYY and ARI made the deal themselves, and ARI and LA later engaged in a separate transaction. See: http://baseball.about.com/od/2004seasoninfo/a/RandyTrade.htm

The article makes it sound like the trade was a 3-way deal.

Death date[edit]

Dwpaul, your source says nothing of a date, there's nothing there that even says he died on the 31st when 99% of other sources say he died on the 4th, the USA Today link doesn't even have a date for his death, just the article, which was on the 4th as well. Please get it right and figure out this thing. Thanks.

Substance use and mental illness[edit]

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised about the substance use and mental health issues that are detailed in this huge USA Today piece. The question is, for the stuff that happened during his career, should that go within the "Career" section, or into a "Personal life" section? – Muboshgu (talk) 21:13, 16 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
