Untitled[edit]

It's not true that the entire Album was recorded in London 1974. Parts of it are live recordings from the autumn tour in 1973. For example . You can easely hear that the song :The night Watch is the november 1973 recording from The Amsterdam Concertgebouw Concert. In total some 23 minutes were recorded live , and later (1974) remasterd in the London studio's. greetings, Jan van Os The Netherlands

Move[edit]

I am moving this article to Starless and Bible Black (King Crimson album). This is because there is another album called Starless and Bible Black by a band of the same name. You can find more info about it here: http://www.locustmusic.com/index.php?option=com_artists&task=view&cid=73&Itemid=6

On one hand, I think that this article (King Crimson album) has a higher priority than the new album (indeed, they may not even have their own page until they have another album or two under their belt). Nonetheless, it is better to call one article Starless and Bible Black (King Crimson album) than Starless and Bible Black (self-titled album). If this new band is named in tribute to the original KC album, surely it makes sense just to leave this page just as Starless and Bible Black? This new band doesn't even have a wikipedia page yet...--HisSpaceResearch 02:59, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fracture source[edit]

I've been looking for a source that cites RF saying Fracture is the most difficult guitar piece he's ever played, but can't find anything. Perhaps it's cited to a contemporary radio or magazine interview that's just not online. This blog suggests it appeared in an issue of Guitar Magazine in the 1970s. Nothing obvious on DGM Live. Lyrics of the title song[edit]

I don't understand the remark: "Only four tracks on this album have lyrics." I think there's five (the majority of the album). I also don't know why in the track listing it says: "Starless and Bible Black" (instrumental). See for instance here for the lyrics to the song "Starless and Bible Black". "Starless and Bible Black" is the instrumental title track on this album, while "Starless", a song on Red, includes the phrase "Starless and Bible Black" in its lyrics (the song was rejected, the title used for something else, then resurrected later).
