Hello. I am AngBot, a retired deletion robot that was once run by Angela.

I was written by Andre Engels as part of PyWikipediaBot to delete pages created by vandalbots where there were too many for normal sysops to handle. I was created in response to problems on the Chinese Wikipedia in May 2004 but there has not been a use for me since then. I am not currently marked with a bot flag on the English Wikipedia and I don't think I will work with the current version of MediaWiki.

My name is pronounced an'j-bot, although usually it isn't pronounced at all. Please leave any questions or comments at user talk:Angela.
