Removed information about William T. Smith in the introduction.

1. Having Mr. Smith mentioned in the introduction blows out of proportion his involvement in the Dwyer case/trial. There was a lot more evidence presented against Mr. Dwyer at his trial than merely Smith’s testimony.

2. All the information about Mr. Smith is already contained in the crime and investigation section.

3. The only reason the information regarding Mr. Smith and his bribe offer to Dwyer stayed in the introduction section for so long was to combat false information springing from the documentary “Honest Man” (upon watching this documentary many people inaccurately believe that Smith admitted that he lied about bring Mr. Dwyer. See for example, the false information presented in the Daily Mail article: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4140514/Robert-Dwyer-father-Budd-Dwyer-suicide-TV.html). Of course, this is not true. Smith stated that he lied at his own 1985 trial when he stated he did not bribe Dwyer, but repeated that his testimony at Dwyer’s 1986 trial, where he admitted he bribed Dwyer, was truthful.

4. To be clear, the “Honest Man” documentary does not even specify that Mr. Smith and Mr. Dwyer had separate trials, and does not present any substantial information regarding the CTA case.

5. It is true Mr. Smith was a main witness for the prosecution, but there were other main prosecutory witnesses too, including Ms. Kincaid, Mr. Schatzman, and John Torquato.

6. Mr. Dwyer’s trial was for just under 6 weeks (from November 5th 1986 – December 18th 1986) and Mr. Smith’s testimony and cross-examination lasted less than 1 week Stanzsd 16:07, 21 February 2021 (UTC)

It does not seem that the following portion of the "Suicide" section does not meet this standard.

One of the cameras remained focused on Dwyer and captured close-up footage of the aftermath of the shooting; as his body slumped, blood streamed from the exit wound in the back of his head as well as from his nostrils and mouth

I cannot ascertain the purpose of this graphic description, and therefore think its removal should be seriously considered. Forgive me if my proposal is not in line with wider standards on Wikipedia.
