early comments[edit]

"Laws of Scotland from before the 1707 Acts of Union or after the Scotland Act 1998."

This is plain wrong.

The Scottish legal system has always remained seperate and markedly different from the system in England and Wales, even for the period betwee4n 1707 and 1998.

This article therefore is factually inaccurate and needs a cleanup

It needs to be pointed at Scots Law

Seconded. The proper title is "Scots law", and needs to acknowledge that a) this continued after the annexation of 1707, and b) some areas of Scots law are still not dealt with by the Scottish parliament. MacRusgail 15:36, 10 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"specifically relate to Scotland"[edit]

Should this be interpreted to include UK laws applicable to Scotland alone or any UK law with sections which specifically relate only to Scotland? --MBRZ48 03:15, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
