Very small typo, don't know how to correct: ...commanders at the Battle of Wittstock in 163], ... Maybe it should be 1631 ? -- Nickj 09:15, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)

The Capture of Edinburgh Castle[edit]

Surely the entry is wrong in so much as Leslie took Edinburgh Castle on behalf of the Scottish Parliament and against the King's Royalist forces!— Preceding unsigned comment added by T140 (talkcontribs) 13:43, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Russia[edit]

Is this the same Leslie who served in Muscovy (of which there's no mention)? Njál 17:34, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely not. That's a different person, Alexander Leslie of Auchintoul. 83.5.162.102 23:02, 16 April 2007 (UTC) woofgrrr[reply]

Is there an article for Auchintoul, found a couple sources not in his existing biographies elsewhere? Is there interest in creating one?Thugcat (talk) 10:31, 30 December 2014 (UTC)Thugcat[reply]

Leslie Family History link[edit]

The following has been removed from the article to this page:

The above site is a COMMERCIAL site, soliciting money for access. At first you see a detailed genealogical record of Leslie's, then abruptly you're thrown to a new page soliciting "a small fee" for continued access, or by making a "meaningful contribution" to the site. I don't think Wikipedia articles are the right place to insert links to Commercial sites soliciting contributions of any kind...

3 sources

All of the sources were mixed in together. The three above were not used to support inline short citations so I have moved them here. Placing the here makes it easy if anyone wishes to copy them back. -- PBS (talk) 19:57, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
