Template talk:Fdw-cp

Idw-cp stands for "Image deletion warning - copyright problems".

Whenever an image is listed on Wikipedia:Copyright problems, this template should be placed on the uploader's user talk page. It is used like this: if the name of the image is 123.gif, then {{idw-cp|123.gif}} should be included. Remember not to include the "Image:" before the image name.

Variants

When an image is listed on Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion, Template:idw should be used instead. When the image is listed there for being an unverified orphan, Template:idw-uo should be used. And when the image is listed on Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images, Template:idw-pui should be used.

Using templates with its own header

Keep in mind when a template generates its own header, you should ALWAYS use the subst: prefix when using a template especially in user talk pages!! When a template generates its own header and a substitute is not used, the edit link next to the header will link to the actual template!
