About my article

Hi Geogre, I've written the article 'Ummo!', i would like to know why you deleted just after his creation, because this article doesn't exists anywhere. The reason seems to be 'Patent nonsence', but why, this article needs just to be checked. I don't know. Thanks Graffity 21:45, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I'll reply here and to your user page. The article was up for VfD in the past and was deleted in the regular course of things. It was recreated, either by you or someone else, and then listed for VfD again. Wikipedia policy is to speedy delete any recreated article. I'm not exactly sure why the original VfD (Votes for Deletion) failed, but I was simply following procedure in performing the speedy delete. Geogre 00:57, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)

File:GIMPLogo.png is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:GIMPLogo.png. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore.
