Hi. I moved Joniskis back because the S with a caron above it isn't valid in article names in the English Wikipedia. Morwen - Talk 12:32, 30 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Image copyrights[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Paksas.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much, Edwin Stearns | Talk 18:07, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Can you find a better tag for Image:Adamkus.jpg as well? --Ricky81682 (talk) 08:04, Dec 26, 2004 (UTC)

Image:Regis2.jpg has been listed for deletion[edit]

An image or media file you uploaded, Image:Regis2.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.

Image Tagging Image:Joniskisst.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Joniskisst.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by going to "Your contributions" from your user page and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thanks so much. --Agnte 00:05, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Which town or city is Lithuanian National Drama Theatre in? The article ought to say... if it's in Vilnius, it could also be put into category:Vilnius. Thanks for the article. --TheGrappler 01:29, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Joniskis.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Joniskis.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Image copyright problem with Image:Donelaitis.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Donelaitis.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
