Just so everyone knows...[edit]

I've heard her speak, and she's brilliant. ####

Misrepresentation[edit]

RE: "Despite a majority of Canadians (and the Liberal party) opposing the deal, the Conservative minority passed the FTA in 1988."

There is something misleading with that statement. Is the writer saying that all Liberal Party MPs opposed the deal or just the majority of the Liberal Party? And why single out the Liberal Party - ALL of the NDP MPs opposed the FTA because of its exclusion of Worker and Environmental standards. Ask Bill Blaikie if you don't believe me. I know that Maude Barlow ran for the nomination for the Liberal Party once (which justifies mentioning Liberals [1] - but to be historically accurate, the NDP opposed the FTA (not just some of the Liberals). 08:04, 27 October 2008 (UTC)24.77.37.31 (talk) 08:04, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Credentials[edit]

The article tells us twice that Barlow has eight honorary degrees (doctorates) but says nothing about what EARNED degrees she has. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.223.224.131 (talk) 15:22, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think she has any real ones. If she does, then she never writes about them. Gigs (talk) 18:21, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
She has a B.A. from Carleton University, I believe in English.

What is her philosophy about water?[edit]

I looked at Wikipedia in hopes of getting a short summary of her beliefs about water and perhaps how her beliefs evolved from her life's experiences. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.104.139.203 (talk) 21:05, 4 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
