Walter E Harris is missing from Members. Link on list of Members at Governor General web site.

Why does Leonard Cohen have his own subcatagory in the order of canada cat. I'm not saying that he shouldn't have his own cat, but it shouldn't be listed in the order of canada cat. If no one objects i'll delete it tommorow, but i just wanted to make sure that I didn't miss some policy about subcats or something like that. Bawolff 04:15, 4 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Why can't I find Doris McCarthy, RCA, in the list of members of the Order of Canada?

Category split?[edit]

This category is very large at the moment. Is it worth splitting it into three categories?

My only concern is that 99% of the media references of the Order of Canada simply say that the individual was awarded the Order of Canada most do not say which level of the Order was given. Any comments? --YUL89YYZ 17:18, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, this should be split into the further categories above. Does Canada publish the awards in a certain paper, like the New Year and Birthday Honours are published in the London Gazette here in the UK? If so, then we can check by that. Craigy (talk) 22:47, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vance Toner was made a member of the Order of Canada in 1997, yet he isn't on the article list. He was a man who worked to unify the anglophone and francophone populations of New Brunswick. He was the first athletics director at the University of Moncton, a predominantly Acadian university, and was an advocate for equal treatment of Acadians. Simply, he was awarded the order of Canada (member level), and should be mentioned as such. http://archive.gg.ca/honours/search-recherche/honours-desc.asp?lang=e&TypeID=orc&id=3752142.167.136.179 (talk) 04:28, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

 Done, originally didn't have an article. ///EuroCarGT 05:05, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
