Request for image review[edit]

I made an account to crop an image of Palme. I uploaded two cropped versions but I cannot decide which one is better, furthermore I would want another editor to review if these images are even or uneven. I seldom crop images. Lochglasgowstrathyre (talk) 17:15, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

First crop
Second crop
The previous image was better for the infobox, as it shows more of his face. It is not ideal, since he has his hand on his chin, so if you find one which is a more frontal one I'd go with that. --Marbe166 (talk) 17:48, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
There are no more optimal infobox images that I could find. But I would argue that they both show the same amount of face, and both are not frontal, the ones below have better lighting as well 78.108.56.35 (talk) 18:01, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
(IP above is me) There is also the possibility of the second crop, it shows more of his face that the first crop. I could also make a third crop which shows even more of his face.
I want to add so that there wont be confusion, that it was I who added the 'hand-on-chin' infobox image back in May, I did not like it at the time, but it was better than the one I was replacing Lochglasgowstrathyre (talk) 18:43, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree. The hand-on-chin picture has better lighting and shows more face (in particular, both eyes properly), than the ones here. I fully agree that the hand-on-chin picture is better than the one it replaced. If we want a picture without hand-on-chin, I think we should revert back to the one from 1974, see this revert. --Marbe166 (talk) 19:30, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Assassination[edit]

"Göran Björkdahl, a Swedish diplomat, had done independent research on Palme's assassination, leading to South Africa's apartheid regime."? What could this mean? South Africa's Apartheid regime predates Palme's assassination. Pkanella (talk) 21:48, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've simplified it to remove that wording. Sminthopsis84 (talk) 22:39, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Link Errors[edit]

Hi,

There are two erroneous links in the assissnation section that are supposed to link to Lars Larsson and Thomas Pettersson. I would have modified them myself but unfortunately I do not know how to do this.
