Addition of Mississippi River (Ontario)[edit]

Is there really a Mississippi River in Ontario? If there is, it should have a page. Should we have a disambiguation page? -- Zoe

Yes it does exist. I believe it was named after a local Indian tribe. I will gather some statistics on it. Since I am a total newbie here, could I leave it to you to set up a link to an empty page?

I don't know if you have a standard way to to handle the many towns, rivers, lakes, etc. with identical names. -- ACS

What I'll do is create a link on the article page to Mississippi River (Ontario), and you can click on that to create the article. -- Zoe

Short-lived disambiguation page for "Mississippi River"[edit]

I have added a disambiguation page, and will slowly begin moving the link pointers from Mississippi River to Mississippi River (United States) and so on. -- Aetas-Nex

The above change and move were promptly undone. See Talk:Mississippi River. There are two articles, Mississippi River and Mississippi River (Ontario). The disambiguation is handled at the top of both articles. The bigger river keeps the title Mississippi River. Whiner01 03:15, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pix[edit]

I will also take a few more pictures of Carleton Place as well as the Mississippi River and upload them. -- Aetas-Nex

Please everyone sign your comments using the standard ~~~~ -- it inserts your username, the time, and the date. Otherwise your comments end up un-dated. Un-dated comments frustrate all readers. Whiner01 08:33, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Twin Town[edit]

It is twinned with Comrie in Perthshire, Scotland. I'm not sure which section to add this into. 161.12.7.4 13:57, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Calvary Christian Academy[edit]

The link I removed was to the wrong article. It referenced Maryland, this particular CCA is in Canada. The external link at the bottom, however, is correct. -- Endofline (talk) 13:54, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hasn't Leigh Instruments been closed for close to 20 years now? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.254.135.122 (talk) 14:01, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
